GABC, GCCA and Holcim, in Partnership with the Government of Switzerland: LC3, A Revolutionary Low CO2 Building Material

The development of limestone calcined clay cement (LC3) represents a saving of around 40% in CO2 emissions compared with the traditional ordinary Portland cement based mainly on clinker. This event will explore what is needed to facilitate the uptake of LC3 cement.

This event will discuss the findings of a new joint United Nations policy brief on the circular carbon economy that calls for more robust policy integration and public-private partnerships for sustainable energy.
