The Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) has today announced details of its inaugural Dinner, Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Symposium which takes place in London on November 22nd and 23rd 2018. The event will focus on future trends in the construction sector globally along with the challenges and opportunities for GCCA member companies and the wider cement and concrete industry.

While on 23rd November, the GCCA Symposium will feature a moderated panel discussion on Global Trends in Construction, with panellists Michael Birshan (McKinsey & Company), Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Heider (Skanska) and Haiyan Wang (China India Institute).

The latest companies to join are Asia Cement (South Korea), Cementos Molins (Spain) and Medcem (Turkey). New affiliates include CEMBUREAU (the European Cement Association), CMI (Ireland) and SNIC/ABCP (Brazil).

Benjamin Sporton, Chief Executive, GCCA said: “As we continue strengthening the Association’s representation across all major cement-producing regions, our inaugural AGM and Symposium will be an important opportunity for our members and affiliates to come together and discuss the priority matters that will inform the GCCA’s work programme, as well as the trends that will shape the future of our industry.”

The GCCA Dinner and Symposium is an invitation only event.
