Companies sign up to join the Global Cement and Concrete Association

Membership expands to 16 companies with more to follow

The membership of the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) continues to grow with the addition of several new member companies from Europe, South America and Asia.

In August, the following cement and concrete companies joined the GCCA as Members:

  • Italy-based Buzzi Unicem
  • Colombia-based Cementos Argos
  • Peru-based Cementos Pacasmayo
  • Turkey-based Çimsa Çimento
  • Thailand-based SCG Cement
  • Greece-based Titan Cement

In addition, the GCCA has welcomed the US-based Portland Cement Association as an Affiliate.

The new members and affiliates join ten existing member companies: CEMEX, CNBM, CRH, Dangote, Eurocement, HeidelbergCement, LafargeHolcim, Taiheiyo, Ultratech and Votorantim.

Further applications for member and affiliate status have been received and are being processed.

Launched in January 2018, the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) is dedicated to developing and strengthening the sector’s contribution to sustainable construction. GCCA aims to foster innovation throughout the construction value chain in collaboration with industry associations as well as architects, engineers and innovators. In this way, the association demonstrates how concrete solutions can meet global construction challenges and sustainable development goals while showcasing responsible industrial leadership in the manufacture and use of cement and concrete. The GCCA is headquartered in London, England. It complements and supports the work done by associations at national and regional level.
