Process to economically convert kiln emissions into cementitious materials
Manufactures a reactive calcium carbonate that can be used anywhere Portland Cement is used. For free form applications, Fortera’s cement can be used up to 35% replacement, or as a 100% replacement for preformed applications. Its process allows cement producers to use their existing infrastructure from the quarry to the kiln to manufacture a new material that instead of releasing CO2, converts it into more product and does so at a comparable price as Portland cement production.
