- How can I submit my entry?

To enter the Concrete in Life photography competition, post a picture on Instagram or Twitter showcasing the use of concrete, using the competition hashtag #ConcreteInLife2021.
Entrants must also include the hashtag for the category that they are entering:

Concrete in Daily Life: #ConcreteInDailyLife

Also specify if you are an amateur or professional photographer

- Do I need to tell you if I’m a professional or an amateur when I submit a photo?

Please specify to us in your entry. If you do not, we will distinguish professional as those who have a full-time job as a photographer in the social media bio. If you do not specify to us, you may be entered into the wrong category.
- Do you have any guidelines for photo entries?

We encourage entrants to interpret this category in their own creative way to showcase the use of concrete in our lives.
Judges will be looking for great depictions of concrete in life – photos that tell a great story or ones that are visually arresting. We also are strongly looking for photos that depict sustainable concrete – how it is contributing to making society more green.
- Is photography from a mobile phone allowed/encouraged?

Yes, mobile photography is allowed and encouraged.
- Can I submit one photo to more than one category?

Yes. You can submit as many photos as you like to each category, but each photo can only be submitted to one category.
- What is the maximum number of photos I can submit?

You can submit as many photos as you like. But each one can only submitted to one category.
- How are the entries judged?

Entries will be judged according tot he following criteria:
- Impact
- Creativity & style
- Composition
- Image or print presentation
- Centre of interest
- Lighting
- Colour balance
- Technical excellence
- Photographic technique
- Story telling & subject matter
- Depiction of suatainability
Judging will take place in November and December and the Judges’ decision will be final.
