Mesmerized by the serene beauty that enveloped the horizon, this bridge known as the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), entails the construction of an 8.5-kilometer bridge that will link the island of Mactan in the municipality of Cordova to mainland Cebu and it is considered as the longest bridge in the Philippines . In a harmonious blend of functionality and community integration, the CCLEX has been ingeniously crafted as a "fishermen's bridge," boasting additional clearance and thoughtfully engineered channels within its structure. These enhancements are meticulously designed to afford local fishermen and their vessels seamless access to their cherished traditional fishing grounds, epitomising a thoughtful fusion of infrastructure and community welfare.
