The Woosh train is the first high-speed train in Indonesia and Southeast Asia; it travels a long distance from Jakarta to Bandung, covering 88.4 miles in 45 minutes. The construction began in 2016 and was completed by October 2023, with an estimated cost of around 7.2 billion USD. The construction is costly because the trains that can reach speeds of up to 350km/hour need high-strength concrete along the track.
