Alison Stirling - Barbican
Description:
The picture is of a section of the Barbican Centre designed by Chamberlain, Powell and Bon. The Barbican is an iconic building, known for it's Brutalist architecture. It is a celebration of how concrete transforms into something of sculptural beauty. I was intrigued by how the forms and textures in this particular tower were set off against the blue sky.
